What is Par 3 Golf?
Although it is an offshoot, this is a game that can very much stand on its own merits. Played on a 9-hole, par 3 course, a player may only use two clubs, one of which must be a putter. Quite literally, this game was designed with everyone in mind. A round takes approximately one hour and is an ideal way to get fresh air and exercise. For the beginner, the length is non-intimidating and for the accomplished, it is an excellent and fun way to practice the all-important short game. Glen Ridge provides golfers of all abilities to practice their game at an affordable price.
Rules
- The game is to be played with two clubs only, one of which must be a putter.
- If a player's ball is not on the green after four strokes, it will be picked up and placed on the nearest edge of the green. The player will then be lying five.
- The use of a tee is prohibited in tournament play.
